7 Foods You Can’t Resist on the Cumberland Jack’s Menu

If you still haven’t eaten with us yet (and you should as soon as you can!), you may be wondering what some popular dishes are on our menu. We want to share some of our favorites and our customers’ favorites with you! Here are 7 foods you can’t resist on the Cumberland Jack’s menu:

1. Mississippi Cat Fish

We serve the Mississippi catfish with tartar sauce and a lemon wedge, of course, and we recommend going for the traditional sides of French fries and slaw for your meal. We have plenty of other delicious sides to choose from, such as cheddar grits, mac and cheese,  potato salad, and more.

2. Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf

The meatloaf is one of the most ordered dishes on Cumberland Jack’s menu. You’ll find regular meatloaf on several menus, but where else will you find it wrapped in bacon? We make our own meatloaf blend in-house by taking ground chuck and mixing in tomatoes, fresh herbs, onion, and celery to create that signature meatloaf flavor. This meatloaf pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, beef gravy, and country beans.

3. Fire in the Hen House

We double-bread the chicken breast to make sure you get all the crispiness your heart desires. You can choose 2 sides to go with your chicken, and we suggest getting mashed potatoes with chicken gravy as one side and then the country beans, creamed corn, or mixed vegetables as your second side!

4. Mexico City Burger

There are several burgers on our menu, and the Mexico City burger is extra special. Here’s why: We dust the 8-ounce beef patty with taco seasoning before cooking, then we top it with cheddar jack cheese, drunken salsa, guacamole, and fried tortilla strips. Now that’s a one-of-a-kind burger!

5. Smoked Ribs

House-smoked and served with either a dry rub or basted in BBQ sauce, these ribs are fall-off-the-bone, melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Choose from a half-slab or a full-slab and enjoy with French fries and slaw for a hearty meal. We also offer a half-slab option that comes with a grilled BBQ chicken breast!

6. Jack’s Shrimp Tortellini

Pasta and seafood lovers will definitely want to try Jack’s Shrimp Tortellini! We take sauteed shrimp and cheese tortellini, and toss it in a Cajun cream sauce, and serve it with garlic bread. It’s only a little spicy, with a lot of cheesy, satisfying flavor!

7. Chopped Steak

We cook 10 ounces of ground Angus beef and grill onions to perfection– we can’t think of a better way to enjoy this hearty dish than by serving it with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. You can also choose one more side to add for the ultimate comfort meal.
