5 Reasons Why You Should Eat at Our Restaurant in Gatlinburg
You may be wondering why you should stop by and try our restaurant while you’re in town. We aren’t like any of the other places to eat along the Gatlinburg Strip, and you won’t find better food anywhere else! Plus, our story is unique, as well as our atmosphere! Check out these 5 reasons why you should eat at our restaurant in Gatlinburg.
1. The Huge Portions
Some restaurants give out small portions, but not us! We know our guests are hungry for a mountain man’s meal, which is why we provide generous portions of whatever meal you order! If you leave our place hungry, it’ll definitely be your fault! Don’t believe us? Come down and order your own meal to see for yourself!
2. Our Appalachian Theme
While some other restaurants in Gatlinburg may have a mountain theme, there’s not another one that does Appalachia quite like us. As soon as you see our building, you’ll feel like you’ve come up on a mountain lodge, which is fitting! As you walk through the doors, you’ll see exposed wooden beams, beautiful wooden floors, mountain-themed decor, lantern-esque lights, and much more. You’ll definitely feel like you’ve traveled a long way to enjoy a hot meal and warm accommodations!
3. The Fantastic Location
Another reason why you’ll want to eat with us is because of our location. We’re right on the Strip, making it easy for anyone to walk to us! We are right next door to our sister restaurant, Crockett’s Breakfast Camp. Our address is 1019 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738. You won’t be able to miss us!
4. Our Delicious Food
Of course, the main reason why you need to eat at our restaurant in Gatlinburg is because of the food! It is important to us to keep the tradition alive of food settlers were enjoying when they discovered this beautiful Smoky Mountain area. That’s why you’ll find all kinds of incredible southern meals and smoky barbecue options on our menu. All of our meals start out with a bucket of bread and a mug of vegetable stew.
Classic southern options on our menu include pot roast with carrots and mashed potatoes, beef liver and onions, or crispy fried catfish. If you’d rather have barbecue, we have pulled pork slathered in our house barbecue sauce served with coleslaw and potato salad, or you can try smoked pork ribs or smoked meatloaf. No matter what you get, you’ll have an incredible meal!
5. The Story Behind Our Name
Our name itself is just one of the reasons why you should spend a meal with us. We are named after the furry companion of Paul Adams, the man who built and first ran LeConte Lodge. His loyal dog, Jack, went with Adams everywhere, and he greeted visitors of the lodge throughout his life. You can learn more about this duo when you visit our restaurant in Gatlinburg!
